I love to read! I have read almost everything that has been written on essential oils and aromatherapy. People often ask what aromatherapy books I recommend, so we have created an Amazon.com affiliate aromatherapy bookstore with all our favorite essential oil books.
Cindy and I also added separate categories for excellent books we have read on herbs, anatomy and physiology, and alternative medicine. We will continue to add more books, and we are interested in your suggestions for any of these categories.
What are you favorite books that we have yet to add to our aromatherapy bookstore?
I also will be adding other categories for books that have inspired me. There are many! My most current obsession is business books about e-commerce, writing blogs, creating websites and social media. I will start adding those books soon.
By the way, as to the picture above, I don’t have a pool–but I have friends that do! Nothing quite like floating in a pool and reading an excellent book!
What are you reading?

Lots of reading this summer! My love of essential oils has expanded out from therapeutic blending to creating beautiful intriguing perfume.
On my reading table right now is:
“The Scent Trail” by Celia Lyttelton (lots of interesting history of eo’s, visits to distilleries…)
“Scents and Sensibilities” by Mandy Aftel (solid perfumes)
“Aroma” by Mandy Aftel (essential oils in food and fragrance)
Mandy Aftel also wrote, “Essence and Alchemy”, which I loved.
On order-”Artisan Perfumery or Being Led By the Nose” Alex Lawless
My favorite novels this summer:
“The Time Traveler’s Wife”
“Olive Kitteridge”
Also liked “Julie and Julia”
Love this post Andrea and look forward to more recommendations!
