With the holiday season coming up, you may be thinking about putting together blends as gifts for your friends and loved ones. Handmade gifts can be a wonderful way to show your appreciation without breaking the budget.
Did you know that each month, we list several products on sale at Aromatics International? Right now, seven essential oils and two hydrosols are on sale.
This is a great time to start making your holiday gift-giving list. Stock up on oils for gentle, relaxing blends. You can give everyone the same blend or take more time to create personal blends. (Maybe you know someone who could use some relaxation, or another friend who could use some uplifting energy.)
Last year, I made bath salts for over a dozen people. I purchased mason jars, used pink Himalayan sea salts and worked with a 1% dilution since I didn’t consult with the recipients ahead of time. (For gifts, it’s best to stick with very gentle oils and a super safe dilution.)
If you make bath salts or a scrub, try decorating your jars with ribbons or remnants from the craft store. When wrapping holiday gifts, look for baskets that can be reused instead of wrapping paper or boxes that go to waste.
If you’re just getting started blending, try the free introduction to essential oils class at Aromahead for a nice foundation.
Do you have any essential oil gift plans?

Great post! I have all-day open houses around holiday season to allow people to come in, sit, enjoy healthy snacks while taking their time blending. It’s great fun – bath salts and body scrubs are always a hit!
Great post, get me motivated to start early on the Christmas list. I love making and giving homemade gifts. Bath oils and salts are quick and fun. Thanks for the packaging tips – I hate wrapping!

People love the bath salts! (me too!) I found pretty jars at Michaels and hot glued a paper flower on top-very pretty! Thanks Andrea.
