aromatherapy travel kits!At Aromahead Institute we make aromatherapy travel kits during the Aromatherapy Certification Program.

Aromatherapy travel kits make traveling–not to mention vacation–more enjoyable all around! And they allow you to be prepared for unexpected events. Below is a list of all the blends we made in small travel sized bottles (such cute bottles!). Each person chose ten of these blends to make, and all ten blends easily fit into a small quart size clear plastic travel bag!

  • Hand cleanser
  • Hand and body soap
  • Headache blend
  • Nausea blend
  • Jet lag remedy
  • Microbes mist
  • Insomnia relief
  • Pain and spasms blend
  • Emotional balance spritz
  • Digestion lotion
  • Bug spray
  • Cooling mist
  • Solid perfume
  • Deodorant
  • Body butter
  • Toothpaste

Some of these recipes can be found for free on the Aromatics International recipes page.  What are your favorite blends and products to travel with?

my favourite in wintertime is definitely my bug spray as i spend too much time at airports and in planes. either it is bought from a leading swiss brand or it is selfmade by simply mixing wodka with cistus ladanifer, thymus vulgaris ct. geraniol, backhousia citriodora plus whatever essential oils right at the moment of preparing the mixture. and i don’t travel without my rose hydrosol.

I love this idea! I am currently attempting to make a pretty little case that would hold all of these remedies that would not only keep them organized, but be aesthetically pleasing as well :-)
