A blogging milestone: Over 100 posts

by Andrea on May 20, 2010

We've reached a blogging milestone!I’ve now written over 100 blog posts!

My first post was in the summer of 2008, almost exactly two years ago. This feels like a blogging milestone, a place to pause and reflect.

I love writing about essential oils, distillers, importing, traveling, teaching and ways small businesses can grow on the web. I also love reading blogs–especially blogs written by people who appreciate the value of sharing information with others with similar interests. Education has always inspired me, as the student and as the teacher.

These days it seems there is a whole new culture of web businesses happy to share as much as they can about their areas of expertise. When I come across someone who seems truly dedicated to helping other people learn and grow, I feel motivated and inspired to write even more, share as much as possible and work together to support each others’ businesses.

My questions to those of you who want to build a web presence are these:

  • How are you already using the web for your business?
  • How does the web best support your business?
  • Has the web changed the way you do business?
  • What are your questions about how to grow your business online?

Please feel free to reply here and share your thoughts! I am truly interested!

I only “discovered” the possibilities of using the web for my aromatherapy business last summer. Since then I have joined facebook, twitter, started an aromatherapy blog, written lots of articles about aromatherapy (in my “other” life as an online writer :) ) – and made a lot of invaluable aromatherapy connections. I’ve also added a few new aromatherapy web sites, in addition to my main aromatherapy web site.

It is a slow process, and one which I am still learning about, but there is so much potential :)

I hope to add more aromatherapy training to my experience in the next couple of years (hopefully with Aromahead!) – and expand my aromatherapy knowledge to reach even more of the world wide web!

And congrats on your 100th post, Andrea! :)

Here is your blog that is mirroring what we just talked about! Generosity in sharing information. You are great. And an inspiration. Thank you for all that you do.
