Energizing Aromatherapy Diffuser Blend

by Andrea Butje on November 15, 2013

RosemaryIn this 4-minute “How To” video, you learn to make a diffuser blend that I think you’ll love!

The blend combines essential oils of Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis ct. camphor), Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) and distilled Lime (Citrus aurantifolia) to create an uplifting, energizing blend for the mornings or that afternoon slump.

The video also includes a discount code for any Puzhen diffuser—an exclusive deal for Aromahead!

Along with the blend in the video, I want to share another favorite diffuser blend of mine right here:

Conifer and Citrus Heaven
20 drops Siberian Fir (Abies sibirica)
25 drops Pinon Pine (Pinus edulis)
10 drops Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis)
15 drops Kaffir Lime (Citrus hystrix)

Add all the drops to a small 5 ml orifice reducer bottle. This becomes your “stock” bottle, and you can add 10-15 drops of this blend to your diffuser. If you don’t have a diffuser, you can just add the oils to a small bowl of steamy hot water! If you love the blend, go ahead and make a larger amount (just use a 15 ml bottle and double or triple the drops).

Do you have a favorite diffuser recipe to share? If you’re reading this post from the Aromahead blog, please add your blend to the comment section. Thanks!

Because I’m hard of hearing, I have a difficult time with videos and stay away from them because I don’t hear what is being said. Is there any chance you might share the recipe in writing for those of us that are hearing-impaired? Thanks!

I bought a blend that combined Lemon, Rosemary, Peppermint, Basil and Bergamot labelled as a “Energy Booster” but if you have the base oils you can definitely play with it and have a good custom blend that works for you. I think ill try and add orange and pine and fir and see what effects come from that
