Thank you so much for doing an e-book for us newbies! I have a quick question. I am trying to make some skincare product for myself with the help of books & Internet. I wanted to know, how good are these non organic essential oils to Organic ones. Do they still work fine on skin as the Organic EOs?
Thanks & Regards,
Mitan..

Reply

Andrea Butje September 1, 2011 at 11:56 am

Mitan,
Thanks for your nice comment! The subject or organic oils is a huge one, and it may come down to personal values, ethics and preferences. I always use organic as I feel concerned about spraying plants with chemicals. I would hesitate to use anything on my skin that was not organic, but that is just my personal preference!

Thank you Andrea.
Your free online course on aromatherapy was quite a help in understanding the dilution method. Thanks.

It is a PDF so as long as you can read PDF’s on your kindle you should be all set!

I really enjoyed the free Intro class. What a great way to inspire people to learn more. I am so happy that I found this website. I have been studying aromatherapy on and off for 10 years now. I really want to have a hands on class and take the certification course, but have to save first. Thank you for connecting us with recipes and info!

Hi Andrea

Just come over from susan Harrington’s site. She highly recommends your book :-)

I have a lavender site and was wanting to know will you be signing up affiliates to sell your book.

It would fit great with my Natural Lavender Treatment post.

BTW Love the look of your site. Will be back to visit.

Will go over to the affiliate link now. And all the best with the book. I’m sure it will do well :-)

I already have the Kindle version of this book and can’t wait to get my softback! Why? So I can highlight key points and write notes in the margin!

I plan on using the beautiful softcover version as a classroom reference tool – I’ll keep it on the blending table for my students to use an “idea guide” when creating formulations in class.

Like everything you do, Andrea, this book is beautiful, well-written and very educational. Kudos my friend!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I have been simply blown away by this book. The book is so easy to read and use. It is full of amazingly helpful recipes for cleaners and body products. The thing I have been most thrilled about how very genuine this publication is. Andrea has been teaching classes online and in person for quite a few years. This is clear when you read her book and visit her website that she is a teacher and truly loves aromatherapy. I feel like the author is there with me to help me. I feel like she really wants to help make my life better.
Don’t go anywhere else for aromatherapy and essential oils.

A friend recently turned me on to your site & I think it’s the greatest thing anyone has ever done for me. I have only recently become involved with essential oils, while looking for something to help a friend with warts & also found help for her Crohn’s Disease. The oils I’ve tried have been amazing & so is your site. I’ve signed up for & completed the free course you offer. I was so impressed that I signed up for two more courses & can’t wait to get into them. I have also ordered your recipe book & can’t wait till it gets here. Thank you so much for offering online courses that are so easily available to those of us in rural Canada & anywhere else. I have so many questions but I’ll do my homework first & maybe come across the answers. Thank you again.
