Certifications and CEU's


National Certification:

Aromahead Institute's 400-hour Scholar's Program is approved by the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). Once the Scholar's Program is completed graduates can apply directly to the AIA for Clinical Level Membership.

Aromahead Institute's online and in-person 200-hour Aromatherapy Certification Program (ACP) is approved by the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA) and the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). The program provides the student with certification through the Aromahead Institute, NAHA and AIA.

The Alliance of International Aromatherapists requirements for their Clinical Membership include:

  • Graduate of an AIA approved 400-hour, level 3 aromatherapy program. (Aronahead Institute Scholar's Program)
  • CPR/First Aid Certificate, updated annually
  • Payment of AIA dues at the Clinical Level
  • Membership in the AIA

    After completing the Scholars Program at Aromahead Institute students can apply for the CMAIA (Clinical Membership of AIA) directly though the AIA website. http://www.alliance-aromatherapists.org/

CEU's

Andrea is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the Florida Board of Massage Therapy as a Continuing Education Provider. All the Institute and online classes (except the free Introduction to Essential Oils) are approved for CEU's by both organizations.

Florida Massage Therapy and NCBTMB CEU's for the Institute classes:

  • 15 day Aromatherapy Certification Program: 90 Florida and/or National CEU's
  • 10 day Advanced Graduate Program: 70 Florida/National CEU's
  • 5 day Teacher Training Program: 35 Florida and/or National CEU's
  • 4 day Anatomy and Physiology: A Holistic Approach: 24 Florida Acupuncture and Massage CEU's
  • 4 day Advanced Practitioners Seminar: 28 Florida and/or National CEU's
  • 3 day The Business of Aromatherapy: 21 Florida and/or National CEU's
  • 3 day Component Blending: 21 Florida and/or National CEU's
  • 3 day Aromatic Blending: 21 Florida and/or National CEU's

Florida Massage Therapy and NCBTMB CEU's for the online classes:

  • Aromatherapy Certification Program: 90 Florida and/or National CEU's
  • Anatomy and Physiology Self Study: 76 Florida CEU's and 50 National CEU's
  • Introduction to Alternative Medicine: 10 Florida and/or National CEU's
