The Online ACP (Aromatherapy Certification Program) allows students to experience an education with the Aromahead Institute through our exclusive digital curriculum.  Through the online textbook and references, access to exclusive videos, case study assignments, and dozens of blending activities, students become professionally qualified in the therapeutic uses of essential oils.

 Our curriculum includes activities and videos, as well as meticulously crafted directions for case studies that will enhance your experience and intuition as an Aromatherapist.

Upon successful completion of the online ACP, students can confidently work with essential oils, and are proficient in blending therapeutic products.  Students are given a year to complete the course, allowing them the opportunity to study at their own pace. Once completed, graduates call themselves Certified and/or Clinical Aromatherapists.

This is an entry-level, in-depth class.  No previous Aromatherapy training is required!  Any independent learner can take this class. Many of our students are interested in:

• Developing a new career in Aromatherapy
• Enhancing an existing health care practice through the use of essential oils
• Personal growth and education 

Graduates of this online course have gone on to create essential oil retail businesses, web retail stores, therapeutic product lines and consultation services.

This is a completely independent, self-study program. If question arrise while you are learning we have an online forum established for asking questions. Your question will be answered by both Andrea Butje and Aromahead Institute graduates. Your case studies and research paper will be reviewed and geedback will be provided  by Andrea Butje.

The Aromatherapy Certification online is approved by NBTMBA for 50 Massage CEU's.

The Online ACP can be completed one of two ways:

1. Certification (Tuition: $1500)

The original Aromatherapy Certification Program was established in May of 2000.  Both the “in person” and online home study course are approved by The National Association For Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), the leading governing body for national educational standards for Aromatherapists. 

In order to receive certification from NAHA, and call oneself a Certified Aromatherpist, students must:

• Complete all elements of the Aromahead Online ACP (20 case studies, a 5-10 page paper and a final exam)
• Complete or transfer 76 hours of Anatomy and Physiology.

If you do not have previous Anatomy and Physiology training you can complete the Aromahead Institute’s online Anatomy and Physiology course to satisfy this requirement. This course was written for Aromatherapy students.

2. Personal Learning without Certification (Tuition: $1350)

Many people take the Aromatherapy Certification Program for their personal growth and learning.  Aromatherapy is wonderful way to enhance your relationship with the healing nature of essential oils.  The skills acquired in this course can assist you in creating a healthier lifestyle for yourself and your family. Those who do not seek certification do not need to take the final exam or fulfill any of the certification requirements.  Regardless of certification status, students who purchase the Onlne ACP receive permanent unlimited access to all the course materials. This is a great option for those who wish to study Aromatherapy and are not concerned with certification.
