Creative tools for the aromatic aspect of blending
I really enjoyed the Aromatic Blending class! I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to meet such fabulous people. I had a wonderful experience. It was great working with all the essential oils in such a relaxed and beautiful setting. The information was presented in a way that gave me a clear understanding of aromatherapy, blending and essential oil concepts. I had the opportunity to smell and work with new oils – it was awesome!
Do you love body butters? Aromatic Blending is an in-depth workshop that offers tools for developing your skill in the aromatic aspect of blending and the use of body butters. Study blending approaches using cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax, palm kernel, kpangnan butter, and coconut oil! Learn to make your own cream, whipped shea, foam soap, salt scrubs and body butters!
The effect of carrier oils and butters on the blend's aroma will be explored. Find solutions to maintaining lovely aromas while blending with a variety of bases and carriers. During the class, students utilize a large selection of varied essential oils, butters, carrier oils, hydrosols and salts. Learn how to create medicinal blends while maintaining appealing aromas. Come spend three fun days smelling, blending, creating, comparing, and understanding a wide variety of aromas.
This 3 day class is appropriate for anyone new to essential oils as well as the experienced Aromatherapist wanting to develop their aromatic blending skills. Class times are 9:30-5:30 each day.
CEU's: This program is approved for Massage Therapy in New York, Florida and by NCBTMB for 21 hours.
Included Materials
Students will create and take home a selection of products, including:
* Jojoba blends
* Body butters
* Hydrosol sprays
* Handmade cream
* Bath salts and foam soap
