About the Aromahead Institute
Overview
Aromahead Institute is recognized by the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA) as a qualified school of Aromatherapy and essential oil studies. Classes are taught on location in Ithaca, New York and online through specially developed self-study courses.
Students at Aromahead Institute can create fluid curriculums or follow the standard of the first-of-its-kind Scholar's Program designed to meet the highest level of Aromatherapy Certification available in the United States.
Aromahead Institute heavily emphasizes hands on experience. Students are encouraged to begin creating therapeutic essential oil blends during classes and self-study courses. This highly applicable form of learning supports the theory and science behind aromatherapy.
Andrea and Cindy teach with a warm, organic approach. Traditionally difficult subjects like chemistry and anatomy are taught with patience and repetition, allowing students from any background to become comfortable with new concepts. Aromatherapy is taught as a dynamic blend of researched theories and intuitive understanding of plants and essential oils.
Our Location
In-person aromatherapy courses are held in a lovely house on four acres of beautiful rural land just 15 minutes from downtown Ithaca, New York. This recently-renovated home, Aromahead Institute’s newest location, has been specifically designed for as a teaching space.
