Andrea’s Adventures: Aromatic London

by Maria on September 27, 2010

This week, Andrea is traveling to Morocco on an amazing journey to experience the local aromatic plants, essential oil distillers, and culture.

On her essential oil distillers trip, she made a stop in London. During her quick visit, she saw Royal Albert Hall and toured Hyde Park Gardens, which was in full bloom and gorgeous this time of year! She also visited Neal’s Yard Remedies and bought some Lavender soap. Andrea says she’s been eating “way too many scones.”  Here are a few pictures she snapped with her phone. Next up, Morocco!

Lovely stuff! I went to the UK this summer and had my first ever afternoon tea and scones, and it was so delicious I thought I’d make my own last week. I might have deviated from the norm though – I found a tonne of random scone recipes here and made 5 different types! My friends were so happy when I invited them round for tea and scones. Great fun!
