Andrea’s Adventures: Morocco

by Maria on September 28, 2010

Andrea is in Morocco attending the annual IFEAT conference.

IFEAT is the International Federation of Essential Oil and Aroma Trade.

At the beautiful location, she has enjoyed food for lunch and snacks by the garden, Moroccan peppermint tea with traditional pouring style, relaxation in the multiple outside hammocks and beds among the tropical plants, the herb garden, and hedges of rosemary!

This IFEAT Annual Conference is attended by over 800 people from over 50 countries.

Andrea says, “Everyone is interested in essential oils, many distillers. The whole introduction was in French so I would have missed it, but someone nice sitting net to me whispered the interpretation! The presentations are all in English–today was distillers and researchers from Tunisia, Morocco and Turkey. Lots of talk about Neroli, Rosemary, Myrtle and Geranium.”

Enjoy these photos Andrea took at the conference!
