I would love nothing more than to fly up to NY and take the certification course in person. Why is there no full 15 day courses offered? I cannot afforded to fly up there three different times for classes or to pay for a hotel for three months for only 15 days of class. I feel that I will get more out of the course if I am able to take it in person and meet other student like myself. Can a course PLEASE be constructed for students like myself who want the same hands on experience and opportunity to meet new people but do not live in NY?

Hi Elizabeth,

Thank for your response, I appreciate your enthusiasm and interest. The program is in-depth and there is simply too much material to go 15 days in a row. Time is needed in-between the weeks to study, absorb the material, do case studies by blending for people and getting feedback and so on. 3 months is the shortest time frame that works to absorb all the information offered.

I do understand that it is a financial and time investment to come to Ithaca 3 times over the summer. People come from all over the country and we have many international students as well. I am always aware that it requires a significant dedication to come three times, so I make sure the course provides all it possibly can.

What I would suggest is coming for one of the 3 day classes this summer. Aromatic Blending is a great option:

I hope this is helpful in explaining why we don’t teach it 15 days in a row. As much as I would love to accommodate people, the program just does not lend itself to being taught in that format.
