A Two-Hour Aromahead Class all about Lavender Essential Oil

by Andrea Butje on June 13, 2017

Lavender is one of the most all-around nurturing essential oils.

I have been working with Lavender for many years—growing it in my garden, making blends with the essential oil, and experiencing its wonderful therapeutic effects. Lavender feels like a long-time friend . . . one who always knows exactly what I need.

Have you spent time getting to know Lavender? One way to do it is to add about 8 drops of Lavender essential oil to a blank inhaler, and keep that with you. You can use your inhaler throughout the day to experience how Lavender can support you in different situations. As you become familiar with Lavender, you can try adding a few other essential oils—just a few drops at a time.

This is a simple yet profound exercise that can deepen your knowledge and your relationship with the oils.

I know I’m not the only one who loves Lavender. I get so much beautiful feedback and questions about Lavender’s Essential Oil Spotlight (right here on The Aromahead Blog!), that I had a fun idea . . . one that would help you get to know Lavender really well, and introduce you to a few other oils that complement it in blends.

I created an Aromahead webinar class that’s all about Lavender essential oil!

The class is called the Lavender Spotlight Webinar. It’s a two-hour webinar that I’ll teach live on Thursday, June 22 at 4 PM Eastern, and it’s $35. The class features the recipes from Lavender’s Essential Oil Spotlight, exploring each recipe to learn the role that Lavender plays, and discussing why each of the other oils in the blend is included.

If you love Lavender and want to learn more about how it works and how to use it effectively, this is the webinar for you!

The five recipes we’ll explore are:

  • Breathe and Be Calm (an anxiety inhaler for kids)
  • A version of the Breathe and Be Calm inhaler for adults
  • Sweet Bathroom Lavender Spray
  • Lavender Sore Muscle Rub
  • Exotic Cocoa Lavender Body Butter

As a fun bonus . . . Lavender essential oil itself will be “hosting” the webinar! It’s like we’re going to Lavender’s house to learn its favorite recipes and meet its friends!

The other eight essential oils in the recipes that you will “meet” are Cedarwood, Tangerine, Cypress, Juniper, distilled Lime, Ho Wood, Bergamot Mint, and Coriander. After the webinar, you’ll understand what they have in common with Lavender, and you’ll feel more confident blending with them.

Lavender always takes others’ needs into consideration and values their time. So I made sure to fill this Aromahead class with value for you!

The class itself will last two hours, and will be followed by a live Q&A session.

I’ve also created a class worksheet so you can take notes, a beautiful PDF of the recipes, and a PDF version of all the webinar slides for you to download.

If you want to take the class but can’t be there on Thursday, June 22 at 4 PM Eastern, don’t worry—feel free to sign up, because I will record the webinar for you and store it in your Aromahead account, where you’ll have lifetime access to it.

The Q&A will be recorded separately, and you’ll be able to jump to any question you like (or you can watch the whole thing to get answers to questions you didn’t know you had!).

And since Lavender loves caring for skin, I included an extra educational topic—how carrier oils and butters are produced! We’ll talk about the production of beeswax, cocoa butter, marula oil, avocado oil, baobab oil, and Trauma Oil.

I’m so excited that Aromahead can now offer a class all about Lavender essential oil! This will be a wonderful way to spend a few hours of your time, whether you can attend the live class with me, or want to study a bit at a time from the recordings in your Aromahead account.

I hope you can join me!
