What is the Teacher Training Program?
Our Aromatherapy Teacher Training program is a 100-hour online course designed to make teaching your own in-person Aromatherapy classes FUN and easy.
Andrea Butje – founder of Aromahead Institute and a teacher for more than 20 years – created this class to share her best practices and innovative teaching style with others. She’s distilled her decades of teaching experience into a comprehensive-yet-accessible curriculum to help you become a more effective and inspirational teacher.
This program includes materials to help you teach 5 different lengths of live, in-person classes – lasting 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 1 day and 2-days. You’ll receive detailed outlines for structuring your classes, 52 Essential Oil datasheets, handouts to supplement your students' learning, supply checklists, and even customizable manuals for each length of class.
By the end of this course, you’ll master everything from creating a successful classroom environment + teaching for different learning styles, to organizing your class content and supplies, pricing your classes, and much more… all in a step-by-step format that helps you feel truly confident as a teacher.
Whether you’re new to teaching or you’re looking for a program to help you take your teaching skills and results to the next level – this is for you. Teaching is an exciting way to build your business, connect with wonderful people, and share your love of Essential Oils with others.
Are there any pre-requisites for the Teacher Training Program? Do I need to be a Certified Aromatherapist?
There are no prerequisites for the Teacher Training Program, although you do need to have a solid Aromatherapy education before you teach Aromatherapy. Being a Certified Aromatherapist will definitely help, however, no formal Aromatherapy Certification is required to enroll in the Teacher Training Program. We want this program to be accessible to anyone who is teaching Aromatherapy or wants to teach.
Do I receive my Aromatherapy Certification through the Teacher Training Program?
This class is specifically focused on training you to be a teacher – so it’s not an Aromatherapy Certification course. If you would like to become a Certified Aromatherapist, we offer a wonderful 235-hour program at Aromahead Institute, the Aromatherapy Certification Program.
Will this class allow me to teach at the Aromatherapy Certification level defined by the Aromatherapy organizations (AIA, NAHA, etc.)?
Completing the Teacher Training Program does not include approval by the Aromatherapy organizations. (you aren’t recognized as teaching at the Aromatherapy Certification level).
In order to teach a Certification level course, you will need to develop your own curriculum that meets the requirement of AIA and NAHA, and get your course approved by them.
