About me:
My name is Jerusha Sweger. I work full time as a foreman for a dirt and grading crew (construction). We have a multitude of different jobs. Currently road widening along the beltway in Maryland. Love my job as I get to work outside, work with different people, problem solve and sometimes I get to run heavy equipment. I have one young amazing, talented daughter and a wonderful husband. We have one all black cocker spaniel named James. Can't leave him out as he has been part of our family for the past 9 years. My passion for the therapeutic properties of essential oils came by surprise on vacation one fall season in Massanutten, VA. The little of what i was introduced too, was enough to forge through articles and websites, and books to learn more. I learned to make oils for flu and cold that were natural and could use to help my daughter. I became hooked, but I didn't know near enough. Fast forward .....After taking a therapeutic uses of essential oils class in Selingsgrove, Pa with Liz Fulcher I yearned for more knowledge. I found Aromahead and didn't realize the connection between Liz and Andrea until after I signed up for the ACP class at Aromahead. That was just another reassuring aspect of an amazing life changing decision. As I continue to pursue my adventure in aromatherapy I am hoping to educate and provide a resource to those interested. My one goal is to make products for the MEN whom I work with in hopes that they can take the skeptic stereotype of aromatherapy as being "girlie" out of their minds and see the amazing benefits of essential oils therapy. That may take awhile.
What I loved about Aromahead:
Integrating an online class into my busy life was one of the best decisions I have made. The style of the online courses were fun, easy to follow and self paced. I was able to finish the class on my own terms and in my own time. I enjoyed the feedback from my case study submissions as they were positive and suggestions were made to help with future case studies. The staff at Aromahead were easily accessible if I had questions or needed help with anything. A fun favorite of mine was and still is taking the day and just blending and creating amazing products. Thank you to Andrea and all the Aromahead staff. What a wonderful learning experience and the wealth of knowledge I have will only continue to grow. Jerusha Sweger
