About me:
Hello friend, My name is Karey Shane. I feel honored to be the first person in Utah to graduate as a Certified Aromatherapist from the Aromahead Institute. I feel humbled and amazed that within weeks of making the vow to devote my life to service, I was called by Tim Ballard of Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.). He asked me to partner with them as their aromatherapist in post-rescue care. A few weeks later, renowned artist J. Kirk Richards helped me craft the Rescue Stone molds, which I used to make the first few dozen terra cotta pendants. They were delivered to a safe house during an Operation Underground Railroad mission to Nepal. In June of 2015, I studied Chemistry and Pharmacology of Essential Oils under Robert Tisserand in London and met wonderful people whom I have come to call friend. Months later, Attorney General Sean D. Reyes came to my booth at Craft Lake City to offer support and provide education about what we can all do to help trafficked victims heal. I now find myself working alongside Elizabeth Smart's father, Ed, and his post-rescue team. The Elizabeth Smart Foundation recently partnered with O.U.R. AROMASOUL and Co. offerings are curated and crafted with 100% love for you--and those whom we are here to serve--on Grannies Farm in Orem, Utah. Look for my balms and blends soon at your local Real Foods Market, as well as on the AROMASOUL and Co. website. As a safety measure, few single oils are offered to help consumers new to essential oils avoid using them in direct contact with skin, or by means of internal ingestion. I strive instead to provide balms and blends in safe dilution to bring harmony to the body, mind, and spirit. Bless you, friend. I hope I can help you in some way. What I loved about Aromahead:
I am amazed by how much personal attention and guidance I received from Andrea Butje, Cindy Black, and my case studies mentor while studying to become a Certified Aromatherapist at the Aromahead Institute. The online course is phenomenal in its depth and organized approach, its constant accessibility, and makes the challenging journey to learn a complex course of study fun indeed. This includes chemistry, toxicology, anatomy and physiology, precise blending exercises, record keeping, and case studies. Shortly after beginning my studies with the Aromahead Institute, it came clear why Andrea Butje was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Alliance of International Aromatherapists . . . she knows how to educate and share information in a personal, caring, and fun way. This challenging course has been so much fun, that it helped me over the hurdles of self doubt in tackling such a rigorous course at times when I was lacking in confidence.
