About me:
My Reiki journey and subsequent venture into Holistic methods of healing began in a time of great stress and personal tragedy. I experienced my first Reiki session while at an unrelated weekend seminar. I didn't know what to expect as I had never heard of Reiki, but I was in a state of physical, mental and emotional exhaustion and needed to find something that could possibly provide some relief and healing. Immediately following my Reiki session, I knew I had found what I was seeking. Reiki was to become a "tool" that would help me through each day. In 2007, I first opened LightWorks Reiki, offering Reiki services from my home, and have recently expanded to Creekside Natural Wellness in Crown Point, NY,where Ioffer Jikiden Reiki® Sessions, Seminars and Aromatherapy services.I am a fully insured Reiki and Aromatherapy professional. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Elmira College, Elmira, NY. My post-graduate studies include Special Education and Counseling. Since 1979, I have worked in the fields of teaching and human services, my experience ranging from work with children, adolescents, special populations and adults in both educational and private sector settings. Having experienced the benefits of Reiki first-hand, I reach out to share the relaxation and health benefits of Jikiden Reiki® with others, combining my personal experiences, knowledge and training to provide a holistic approach to well-being. In addition to my Reiki practice, I am also a Certified Aromatherapist having completed my certification through the Aromahead Institute in January 2019.

I loved everything about the training provided by Aromahead Institute. It was comprehensive, challenging, and gave me the confidence needed to be able to knowledgeably provide Aromatherapy services to my clients.
