About me:
I have been a professional cleaner for 25 years. Over the summer of 2020, when we were all stuck at home for 2 months or longer during the pandemic, I was searching for an alternative to stick incense. I used it so much that the inside of my house looked like the set of “That 70’s Show”. To make a long story short, I found essential oils, became obsessed with them, and now 2.5 years later, I am a Certified Aromatherapist! After 25 years of physically working hard as a Janitor, because I had no college degree, it is so amazing to be able to say to myself and mean it, I am officially educated enough to be something other than a Janitor! Very proud of myself!
How I intended to use my aromatherapy knowledge:
SO many options! I want to make “Andrea Butje” videos, hopefully using some comedy. I want to write an “Aromatherapy 101” type book. I like teaching people “Aromatherapy 101” because I like being a good source for new folks to come to that they can trust. I can make and/or sell my own products, either on the side, or as a bigger business. I do wish there were aromatherapy or essential oil companies near me. I would love to be an Aromatherapist for one! I can do ALL of this if I want!
What I loved about Aromahead:
What I loved most is actually what I was dreading the most! The Case Studies! Every feedback report I got from my instructor was multiple paragraphs long just crammed with so much information, advice, and suggestions! I saved everyone and I will print them and put them in my upcoming “Aromatherapy Bible”. The Case Studies portion of the program was literally like a separate ACP program! That’s how much more learning I did! I did well on my own, made plenty of boo boo’s, and was able to correct, refine and enhance my products. I looked at my very first case study report vs. my last case study report and I can see and read how far I advanced! Proud to see that! Sincere heartfelt thanks to EVERYONE at Aromahead…Katherine Grames, my Case Study Instructor, Shelia, who read my research paper, Ann, who graded my written exam,…EVERYONE!
