About me:
I’ve always been interested in self-reliance and holistic healing. My journey meanders through herbal medicine, Taichi, QiGong and Shiatsu practices, communing with Nature, and trying to figure out how things work and if I can do them myself. My introduction to essential oils was in the late 90s, when a caring friend gave me a box of oils accompanied by Robert Tisserand’s book, The Art of Aromatherapy. I used essential oils in homemade skin care products and around the house, but it wasn't enough. I desired an in-depth education and wanted to have the confidence and knowledge like some of the the true experts that inspired me. I wanted to understand how to use these beautiful and mysterious oils to their fullest potential.
How I intended to use my aromatherapy knowledge:
So I feel incredibly privileged to be in this position to offer my services to Aromahead’s students in turn. It’s my wish to bring the best of my own experiences from the Aromahead's outstanding philosophy to the online environment—warmth, compassion, excellent education, fun, laughter, friendly environment that made me feel secure, the sweeping beauty of the landscape, and the purple classroom that nourished my heart.
What I loved about Aromahead:
When I decided to dedicate myself to intensive learning at Aromahead Institute, taking every single course offered, I got so much more than I could possibly have expected or imagined. Events unfolded as if I were living the words straight from Pablo Coelho’s book, The Alchemist: “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” The generosity and kindness that naturally flowed from Andrea left such a lasting impression. I can honestly say the education at Aromahead was transformative.
