About me:

I've been a Registered Nurse for almost 25 years serving diverse populations, from fragile preemies in the NICU to inmates in a maximum-security prison (and everything in between!) About 5 years ago, I decided that Western medicine, while valuable, left a lot to be desired in terms of treating patients' concerns. I was introduced to Aromatherapy at a local health fair and since then I've been hooked! I worked for a year at Plant Therapy, one of the fastest growing essential oil companies in the US. it was a fantastic experience; but I wanted to do more. With the fantastic base instruction I received while at Aromahead, I continued my aromatherapy education to include a certification for health care professionals, then earned a diploma in aromatic medicine (internal dose forms) under Australian expert Mark Webb. I now freelance writing blogs (both personal, at aromabridge.wordpress.com and ghost writing) and I teach aromatherapy classes, both in person and as a per-diem instructor online. In 2016, I sat for and passed the Aromatherapy Registration Council's Registered Aromatherapist examination.

What I loved about Aromahead:

I loved Aromahead's program because I could study nights, weekends, and even in PJ's with "bed head"! Having the ability to watch videos helped "connect" me to Andrea, and I love her gentle, supportive, and inspiring style!
