Relieve deep bruising naturally with Trauma Oil, Helichrysum, German Chamomile, and Lavender.

In a recent YouTube video, I shared my personal experience with a powerful blend I whimsically refer to as my 'healing trauma blend.' This remedy helped me recover from quite a painful incident. I want to provide you with a more in-depth look at the ingredients that make up this potent blend.

For those who haven't seen the video, here's a quick recap: I fell while trying to climb from my roof into a window, leading to severe bruising and rib injuries. It was an agonizing experience, and in that moment of pain, I found solace in a trusted remedy—Trauma Oil.

Trauma Oil is a blend created by infusing Arnica, St. John's Wort, and Calendula flowers into Olive Oil. It's an excellent treatment for unbroken skin, providing gentle yet effective relief for deep bruising by reducing inflammation and accelerating the healing process.

To amplify Trauma Oil's benefits, I incorporated three essential oils—Helichrysum, German Chamomile, and Lavender.

  • Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum): This is a standout essential oil with incredible components that reduce inflammation, edema, and bruising. The secret behind Helichrysum's effectiveness is italidiones—compounds that lend the oil its powerful skin healing abilities. The aroma of Helichrysum is a rich, sweet blend of honey, fruit, and tea with warm, herbaceous undertones. But it's not just physically healing; energetically, Helichrysum is known to heal current emotional trauma. It's an apt choice for a bruising blend!

  • German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita): This essential oil is well known for providing pain relief due to its potent anti-inflammatory properties. It also soothes the nervous system and supports sleep. Its secret weapon is Chamazulene, which offers numerous healing benefits for the skin and reduces allergic reactions. This oil does double duty, providing both physical healing and emotional relief. It can help calm feelings of anger and frustration, ground stress-related conditions, and offer support in difficult situations. Its aroma is strong, bitter, and herbal, with a slight hint of fruitiness.

  • Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia): Lavender is widely regarded for its analgesic properties. It helps reduce inflammation and swelling, and its skin-healing properties are renowned worldwide. The deep balancing and anxiety-relieving benefits of Lavender are truly exceptional. Its secret agents, Linalool and linalyl acetate, have been extensively researched for their multi-level healing abilities. Lavender has a fresh, light, sweet-herbal aroma with floral, woody, and sometimes fruity notes. It's known to calm, soothe, and nurture, encourage balance in all body systems, reduce anxiety and fear, and help calm and control panic attacks.

If you're interested in creating this powerful blend, here's the recipe:

    Recipe: Healing Trauma Blend

    • 1 fl oz (30 ml) Trauma Oil

    • 10 drops Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum)

    • 10 drops German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita)

    • 10 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)

Add all ingredients to a 1 oz (30 ml) amber bottle with a cap. Shake gently and using a gentle touch, apply to all sore and bruised areas.

Following my fall, I immediately applied a blend of Trauma Oil and these three essential oils to the painful area, repeating this process 2-3 times a day for an entire week. Every application brought significant relief and visibly brought the bruising to the surface, preventing potential deep bruising complications. The calming effects of the essential oils provided emotional support, leaving me feeling much more centered and nurtured.

And the good news is, this is just a glimpse of the incredible healing benefits of this blend.
